Thanks for stopping by! We are a small, family-run farm in the rolling hills of Northern Tioga County, New York. We raise wholesome, pasture-raised, happy Kunekune pigs, American British White Park cows, laying hens, meat chickens and turkeys!
Our animals live contentedly in our pastures, living their lives as they were intended. During the winter months the pigs live comfortably in the barn eating hay and a balanced pig ration. Our pigs are heritage breed Kunekune that originated in New Zealand. Also in winter, the cows are brought to the barn pasture where they have access to shelter, but rarely make use of it - instead enjoying the fresh air and all the hay they want. All of our animals are socialized to human interaction and are treated with care and respect. We offer on-farm piglet sales, quality breeding stock, and raise-your-own Kunekune meat pigs as well as offering quality, pasture-raised succulent Kunekune pork by the individual cut or by whole/half hog purchase. Seasonally we raise broiler chickens and turkeys for our loyal customers. We have grass-fed American British White Park beef available as well. Our meat is slow-raised and small batch—all to ensure the tastiest and best quality for your table. Contact us for availability and pricing. Thank you for being a part of the back-to-the-farm movement that is sweeping the country. We are strong advocates for knowing your farmer and knowing where and how your food is raised. We are proud to be NY State Grown & Certified for our Kunekune pork, a Kunekune Pork Producers Association certified farm, and members of the American Kunekune Pig Society. Kathy serves on the Board of Directors for the Empire Kunekune Pig Association, an international Kunekune educational organization. Please note: We encourage on-farm visits from our customers, but only by appointment. We do not encourage unattended visits to the farm for your safety, and for the health and well-being of our animals. |
Preservation Pledge
The #preservationpledge signifies that we are committed to preserving the Kunekune as a heritage breed landrace, pork-producing animal. That means we prioritize breeding for future generations that will maintain essential attributes for survival and self-sufficiency – fertility, foraging ability, longevity, ability to adapt to the natural environment, strong maternal instincts, ability to mate naturally, and resistance to diseases and parasites. It also means that we recognize and appreciate the diversity of shapes, colors and sizes and value both a wattled and unwattled pigs for what they can contribute to future generations.
